First of all, find the purchase order that is going to be packed. Take into consideration the filters to make your search and click on the blue button.
There are three different types of stickers that the packing person can print, place the following columns:
AWB/STICKERS: It is the complete box sticker. The user can print box stickers with the airway bill information. The option is available when it appears as (#), where # is different from zero, (0) otherwise.
PH/STICKERS: It is an incomplete box sticker. The PH/STICKERS do not show airway bill information. By rule, these stickers should be print previous to coordination. The option is available when it appears as (#), where # is different from zero, (0) otherwise.
PRINT TOP: It is the complement of the previous box sticker. This sticker is a header with the airway bill information, only. It is recommended to use this one when the packing process is completed without the airway bill information. The option is available when it appears as (#), where # is different from zero, (0) otherwise.
Example: Box sticker without airwaybill info.
Please, put the cursor on the filter Caja and scan the barcode shown in the box sticker.
It will redirect to the page where the bunches are scanned.
In the highlighted section called ID, type the bunch id or scan the barcode of the bunch and press the blue button.
If the bunch is scanned correctly, the message OK! will appear and the item scanned will turn grey.
Follow the same process until all the boxes get packed.
Recommendation: Always scan all bunches at once and never leave a partially packed box. If whatever reason you need to partially pack a box, do it only for SKUs that are not meant for corporate brand inventory(25 stems bunches). Otherwise, having a partially packed box makes the unpacked bunches return to inventory. Once, the first bunch is scanned into the box the rest are freed to inventory as the demand of that box is no longer considered. The reason why all bunches must be packed quickly.
For a box to be fully packed, in the column ITEMS POR EMPACAR (Items to be Packaged) and ITEMS EMPACADOS (Items Packed), the number must be the same.
When a box is fully packed it will appear in grey, otherwise, the line will be white.
Farms tend to use FIFO inventory methods in which the oldest bunch are used first.
The following option helps to check the creation date of bunches. In a way that the person scanning a bunch into a box can check whether there exists an older bunch of the same version. In case there are, the person can scan the older bunch instead.
In order to check the ageing of a bunch, type the ID bunch into the AGING CHECK section and press enter. The page will show the SKU and date of creation of that bunch along with the date of the oldest version in case it exists.
Example: For the AMSTERDAM 60CM N25ST 1SCS bunch of April 27th, an older version of the 26th can be used instead.
In case of a swap box or mix box happens that when a bunch is scanned appear the message "NO SWAPPABLE ITEMS"
