# Manage Departments

**Go to:** Home / Accounting / Workforce Management / **Manage Departments**

Within the Departments page, click on the **New Department** option located on the upper right side.
Fill out the following form with the information about the work department you are creating.
**ID:** internal number of the labor department.
**Department Name:** Name of the Department of work.
**Department Description:** description of the department.
**Location:** which farm corresponds to the work department.
**Parent:** general department to which it belongs.
Please fill the form
Once the information is complete, click on **Save & Close** to save the new work department. The screen will refresh automatically, please click on **Search** to view the departments created.
