Please go to: Production / Production data / Projections.
The information that needs to be managed in this module is the bruto amount of stems per block being counted in the field. At most 4 weeks ahead of time, it's possible to estimate with the naked eye how many weeks it takes for a flower to be cut-stage ready. Therefore, our projection module can be managed with a projection of a maximum of 4 weeks out. To input a projection, please follow these steps.
Tip: Tip: anything further out than the week of the projection, has to insert in each following week in column 0 only.
In that way, projections have NO limit on how far out we can give a commercial estimation to sell from.
Step 1) Establish the week of the projection, this defines when was the projection being made. It's efficient to also use the other filters to shrink your search selection, such as the warehouse, block, species, and variety filters.
Step 2) Analyze the bruto production levels from the previous weeks. That information is a good guide to see where you came from and will help to make an accurate projection for the upcoming weeks.
Step 3) Because of the weather conditions (more sun, more rain), to estimate 4 weeks ahead of time when a flower is cut-stage ready, is more difficult than 1 week ahead of time. Therefor, as we get closer to the reality of a projected week, we get every time a more accurate projection.
That is the main reason why we'd like to project the same upcoming week, multiple times. example: week 9 gets projected 5x.
In week 5, we projected week 5-6-7-8-9 In week 6, we projected week 6-7-8-9-10 In week 7, we projected week 7-8-9-10-11 In week 8, we projected week 8-9-10-11-12 In week 9, we projected week 9-10-11-12-13
The given example can be read as follows: The projection for week 9 is made in week 9 and being projected 4 weeks out, we call that 5+4. In week 6 a projection was also made for week 9, we call that 6+3 in week 7, another projection was made for week 9, 7+2 week 8 is one week ahead of week 9, that projection we call 8+1 and in 9 itself, we projected the week again to make sure we got it accurate, 9+0
Its good to see what the previous projections were for week 9, meaning, week 8+1 (shown in -1), week 7+2 (shown in -2) and week 6+3 (shown in -3), those weeks we show in the following part:
Step 4) Insert the projection in the following input field.
As being explained, week 9+0 = week 9 itself. week 9+1 = the projection for week 10 week 9+2 = the projection for week 11 week 9+3 = the projection for week 12 week 9+4 = the projection for week 13
Step 5) Save projections.
We suggest managing the projections per block, and not per variety.
In that way, compliance reports can be made as we can compare the projections with the received production.
Projections can also be uploaded through an excel file. Please, follow the next steps.
Click on the option XLSX Manage located on the upper right-hand of the page. Then, choose the option Download Filtered.
It will download an excel file.
Open and edit the excel file. Save your modifications, and go back to UNOSOF.
On the same page of projections, please, use the option called Upload Filtered.
The following option will pop up, click on Choose File.
Once you attach the file, please, press on OK button.
The system will present a preview page of the projection data before it gets uploaded into the projections itself.
You can still edit you projections in this preview.
Once the data is revised, hit the button Save Projections (Week X).
The message Success will appear once the projections are loaded correctly into the system.
Search again to see your projections.
